Launch of an Centre of Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery
In Feb 2025, I coordinated and was responsible for Prince of Wales Private Hospital getting accredited with SRC as a Centre of Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery (COEOS).
This involved many months of work, assistance from various internal departments, staff, leaders, and the support of the organisation and team.
I will very openly admit that without many people putting in a lot of work, this achievement wouldn’t have occured. I was fortunate to get to manage this project / and coordinate the successful outcome.
This included working with, liaising, and coordinationing with SRC.
Submitting of de-identified case examples, doctor information, and all accreditation materials.
Hosting and conducting an on-site evaluation, inspection, and tour from an international inspector from SRC.
