Administration of the Doug & Monique Thompson Gamma Knife Fund

During my time as Patient Services Manager at Macquaire University Hospital (MUH), I was involved with and responsible for the administration of the Doug and Monique Gamma Knife Fund.

This charitable fund was a wonder gift and program; the Thompson family gifted MUH a large sum of money with the express purpose of a fund being created to provide access to the Gamme Knife for patients who have financial hardship, or otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford the advanced treatment.

During my time, I was delighted and privileged to assist over 35 treatments.
